Refund Policy
DriveScape is a one-time US$8 purchase, sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd - or Paddle.com Inc. for US customers - ("Paddle"), acting as the Merchant of Record. This page explains when you can get a refund, how to ask for one, and how it is processed. It sits alongside our Terms and the EULA, and nothing here removes any refund right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
1. Who handles your payment
Checkout, billing and refunds are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record — the seller of record for the transaction. That is why your card statement shows PADDLE.NET* rather than DriveScape. BrickLogic (the developer of DriveScape) grants you the app licence; Paddle processes the money, under Paddle's buyer terms. Any refund is issued by Paddle back to your original payment method.
2. Digital delivery & your cancellation right
DriveScape is delivered instantly: right after payment you receive an offline activation code by email. At checkout you consent to that immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once the activation code has been sent, the statutory "cooling-off" right of withdrawal for digital content no longer applies. This does not affect the refund promise below, nor any mandatory right you have under the law of your country.
3. Our refund promise
We want you to be happy with DriveScape. We will refund your purchase if you ask within 14 days and any of the following applies:
- the app does not work on your system and we cannot fix it;
- you were charged twice, or bought it by mistake;
- it is simply not what you expected — for a US$8 app we would rather refund you than have you stuck with something you do not use.
Because the app is yours forever once activated and needs no account, we may decline a refund where there are clear signs of abuse — for example, repeated buy-and-refund cycles.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@drivescape.dev from the address you bought with, or include your order or receipt number from Paddle. Tell us briefly what went wrong. If it is a technical problem we will usually try to help first, but we will never hold a refund hostage. You can also request a refund directly through Paddle using the receipt Paddle emailed you.
5. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. Paddle typically processes them within a few business days; how quickly the money then appears depends on your bank or card provider (often 5–10 business days). You will receive a confirmation from Paddle. Once refunded, your DriveScape licence is deactivated.
6. Chargebacks
If something went wrong, please email us first — we can almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your licence being deactivated.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or other right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country. Where that law gives you more than this policy, that law applies.
8. Contact
We have no contact form — email is the only channel. For anything about a refund or your purchase, write to support@drivescape.dev. See also our Terms and the License (EULA).
